ONE word!! CONCHAS!!!!! These are just the best I have tasted! I have traveled to Mexico and let me tell you, this is one of the best you will find in Chicago!
My dad was born and raised in Mexico and lives In the suburbs about 45 minutes away from the city. He hasn't been able to find any good conchas or bread that reminds him of home. He took one bite and his eyes lit up. He said it's easily the best he's had since being home. The service is great. She explained the differences in breads and recommended things he might prefer. It's a great place you have to go

The Conchas are made with love here!!! just like the rest of the bread, everything is so delicious and if you lucky and cough everything hot just out the oven well that's a plus.... Cakes I haven't try those so no knowledge on that but my 30 drive is totally worth it.
We have lived half a block away for 2 years and haven't tried this place until today. We are SO happy we finally tried it. The bakery is awesome. Everything was so fresh and delicious. The workers were lovely. This is going to become our regular Sunday morning go-to. I can't wait to try more things! If you're in the neighborhood and keep meaning to check this place out, go for it! I can't tell you the names of anything we ate but I can tell you they were fresh, delicious, and reasonably priced.
I waited in line for about 45 minutes in the cold outside on día de los Reyes and after tasting their rosca I did not regret a single minute or it. Their rosca de reyes was made fresh and given to me straight out of the oven. I purchased 3 of them and my family devoured it. Muchísimas gracias a todos que trabajaron tan duro el día de los reyes para que pudiera celebrar con la deliciosa rosca y mi familia!
Omg this is seriously the best bakery in all Chicagoland. I am a carb queen and love exploring different neighborhoods and always end up here. This is the one place I don't have to second guess whether or not the bread will be fresh because no matter what time of the week I go it's always super fresh and soft. I love that you can see them actually rolling the dough and baking bread behind the counter. The conchas are ALWAYS super soft and fresh I don't know how they do it to constantly deliver freshness day to day. I feel like other panaderías you have to go on weekends to ensure bread is fresh but here Monday-Sunday without fail! Also their cheese bread is amazing and their tres leches cake. I haven't found one thing I dislike, it's a gem of a place! En serio la MEJOR PANADERÍA de todo Chicago! A mi me gusta ir a diferentes vecindarios de Chicago para explorar panaderías y apesar de todas las opciones en mi disponibilidad siempre decido ir a este lugar ya que el sabor y la frescura es totalmente inigualable. Las conchas siempre están súper frescas y deliciosas. Hay algunas panaderías donde uno tiene que ir los fines de semana bien temprano para asegurar que el pan esté fresco pero este lugar es consistente con la calidad, no importa cual día de semana voy lunes a domingo pero siempre tienen el pan súper calientito, la verdad no se como le hacen. El pan de queso también es delicioso al igual que el pastel de tres leches. Super recomendado para sus antojos cualquier día de la semana.
